Our History
A Church Built on Hope
For generations, Bethel Church has been a home for the people of Sanger — a place to find solace and peace in the presence of the Lord. We are a Spirit-filled, Pentecostal church committed to spreading the message of God's love and grace.
As the Oasis of Hope, we believe the church is not a building but a family. Through worship, the Word, prayer, and genuine community, we are seeing lives changed and hope restored across Sanger and beyond.
What We Believe
Our Core Beliefs
The Bible
We believe the Scriptures are the inspired, authoritative Word of God — our guide for faith and life.
One God
We believe in one God, the Creator of all, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man — born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, risen in victory, and coming again.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells, fills, and empowers believers, distributing gifts for the building up of the Church.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone — a free gift no one can earn.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called together to worship, grow in fellowship, and carry His love to the world.
Eternity
We believe in the visible return of Christ, the resurrection, and the hope of eternal life with Him.
